Product Description
NextPage 2.0, a document collaboration service, is the first to connect e-mail collaboration to Microsoft Office by tracking documents that are stored as e-mail attachments, on desktops and servers. The service provides a 360-degree view of document activities and works whether users are on or offline. NextPage 2.0 reduces the risk of sending out the wrong version, prevents wasted time working on wrong versions and provides control over ad hoc document collaboration processes.
Market Opportunity
The 400 million Office users (ENT News) creating the 7.5 billion Office documents annually (Tower Group) are faced with the challenge of effectively collaborating on documents, because 80% of digitized resources reside in individual hard drives (Gartner) while 65% of collaboration occurs by e-mail (Cap Ventures).
DEMO Says
For all the money that businesses have invested in heavyweight document management products, most document collaboration happens in an ad hoc manner through e-mail and other “out of system” file sharing methods. Rather than fight that behavior, NextPage embraces it. This system requires no IT infrastructure, yet effectively handles version tracking on local and shared storage as well as documents shared via e-mail. This lightweight approach is the next wave of enterprise data management.
