Nexidia’s phonetic search solution renders any spoken word content (audio and video) instantly searchable via a simple or complex text query across 28 languages. Nexidia’s phonetic solution is disruptive to current approaches in that it produces unparalleled accuracy, speed and scalability.
Market Opportunity
Nexidia is partnering with rich media aggregators and content producers to extend beyond metadata-based search to index the actual spoken word content contained with audio and video on their Web sites and across the Internet. These services are available as a Web service, on the desktop or portable devices.

Audio files defy traditional search algorithms that rely upon metadata and free text to identify meaning. Nexidia applies search algorithms to speech to find audio files among search results. Yet it does so in an unexpected way: rather than applying a text search algorithm after speech-to-text processing is completed, Nexidia uses a phonetic search algorithm to find results within the spoken word. The result is a more accurate and efficient search method for recorded speech data.
