- Product Description
- HIT enables smart phones to create a total interactive experience between broadcast television and a viewer. The phone sees what the viewer sees and allows items in the broadcast to be selected and purchased, searched for, voted on, etc. by synchronizing broadcast content with custom UIs on the smart phone screen. This is not a remote, but rather a personalized interactive gateway. Point, click, and interact with digital content you are watching on TV.
- Market Opportunity
- Average rates of clicking on interactive TV ads can range from 3% to 6% (Jacqueline Corbelli, CEO BrightLine iTV). Sixty percent of cable customers (38 million homes) have set-top boxes with two-way communication (NCTA). PQMedia estimates product placement is $7 billion in 2009, $10 billion by 2010.
- DEMO Says
- Trends towards interactive advertising are accelerating more and more each day. Add mobility to the mix and you get Hand Eye Interactive Technology (HIT), a software platform which allows mobile devices to interact with the world of digital media, anytime, anyplace. Watching your favorite television show and like the main actor's coat? Point your mobile device, pull the coat to its display, find and buy it on the web. HIT's device independence and scalability mean the platform can be anywhere. We hope the future will find it everywhere.
