- Seed was self-funded by the founders, who are successful serial entrepreneurs. Benchmark Capital was the only venture capital firm, providing $3.5 million Series A funding and an additional credit line worth $2 million.

- No direct competitors. Secondary competitors are all mobile games. A notable and successful music-related game is the Tap Tap series from Tapulous. However, even though thousands of games are available in the iTunes App Store, our first product, TuneWiki Social Media Player, took just a month to rise above the clutter and become a top-5 app worldwide on the iPhone. It was also named The New York Times "application of the week."
