All registrants of DEMOfall 08 are invited to participate in our newly launched social network powered by EventVue. The DEMO social network allows attendees, demonstrators, sponsors and press to more effectively plan their time at DEMO.
Registrants are now able to enter the community, update their profile, search for people to meet, reach out and schedule meetings and also track the buzz from the conference through some nifty tools aggregating audience blogs, twitter posts as well as photos and videos being posted on YouTube and Flickr.
Right now, attendees, sponsors and press can display their profiles on the network. Demonstrators are able to update their profiles but will not be entered into the community until we announce our 72 demonstrator companies on Friday, September 5th. By then the community will be in full swing and the 700+ people coming to DEMOfall 08 will be able to find and connect with the people they want to meet in San Diego.
For All DEMO Registrants
If you're registered to attend DEMO, you should have received an invite to attend (this week's new registrants will get an email on Tuesday, September 2nd). If you did not receive an email inviting you into the network, you can still get access by visiting the network home page and resetting your password. The team at EventVue is also available to help if you run into problems. Just shoot them an email at support@eventvue.com.
Not Attending DEMOfall 08?
If you can't make it this year, you can still participate from home -- we've set up a special Twitter account @demofall08 where we'll republish the tweets live from the attendees at DEMOfall during the event. Follow @demofall08 to get the inside conversation live from DEMO. This aggregated Twitter feed is in addition to our existing DEMO account @demotweets which provides updates on the show and the latest news about DEMO companies. We encourage you to follow both.
