Video search platform readies political content
Political junkies rejoice! ClipBlast! (DEMOfall 07) this week announced it is indexing video content from The Hill, a leading political newspaper. The company will index all current and future content from The Hill's video channel (HillTube), including streaming videos from the site's Leading the News, Opinion and Capital Living features.
A recent survey by ClipBlast! and Synovate of 1,000 online consumers last fall showed that "substantial percentages" of people expect to get political news from the Video Web during this year's election cycle, including 29.5% from online news video, 22% from online debates, and 7.5% from video bloggers.
