Product Description
1-800-FREE-411 revolutionizes the 411 (directory assistance) marketplace by offering consumers a FREE alternative to the high cost service provided by traditional carriers. In addition, FREE411.COM on the Internet provides consumers with an easy to use Web-based destination for telephone number lookups. National and local merchants sponsor this service with a 12-second audio jingle about their services, which are played to consumers at the point they make a 411 request for a business in their category.
Market Opportunity
Kathleen Pierz, of the Pierz group (www.pierzgroup.com) estimates that 20% of the existing 411 market of 6 billion calls per year as well as an additional 1.2 billion potential calls from consumers who consciously avoid high cost directory assistance services would be immediately attracted to a free, advertising supported service. In comparison, telephone number lookups on the Web occur 3.2 billion time per year.
DEMO Says
Jingle Networks’ free 411 service is a boon for mobile phone users, but the real beneficiaries are local businesses that will find new reach through this self-service advertising network that bridges phone- and Web-based branding efforts. With some 6 billion 411 calls placed annually, Jingle Networks is bound to have a major affect on local business advertising.

I just heard about your FREE411 service. I think it is great. However I am concerned that the business model you've adopted will not translate to the telephone industry as well as planned and will fail. So I want you to know I would use FREE411 even if I was presented with ads when asking for residential or government information. -Alex Scianna
