Product Description

Fortify Application Defense is a software solution that monitors and protects business applications from misuse regardless of whether the source of attack is inside or outside the enterprise. It not only provides a protective shield over security flaws that exist in the software code, but also enables defensive countermeasures to minimize exposure and proactively defeat attacks while an application runs.

Market Opportunity

Gartner states that 75% of today's hacks occur at the application level and that by 2009, 80% of companies will have suffered an application security incident. Fortify Software's market opportunity includes enterprises that use software applications to automate business processes that are exposed to attack from hackers and malicious insiders.
