- Product Description
- OTPK (One-time Private Key) is a revolutionary way to carry out digital signatures to protect electronic transactions. By making signature keys one-time-use, it removes the need for cumbersome smartcards, readers or complicated key management, while preserving the integrity and security of transactions. When OTPK is used to secure Internet applications, it protects transactions from possible man-in-the-middle attacks. Compared to roaming credential solutions, OTPK’s advantage is that it is compliant to digital signature regulations.
- Market Opportunity
- Besides SOX, FFIEC and HIPAA compliance, which is a high priority on many executives’ agendas, the transaction security needs for e-commerce and e-government operations are also rising. E-commerce sales in 2005, according to the Department of Commerce, were $86.3 billion, a rise of 24.6% from 2004.
- DEMO Says
- The One Time Private Key is a clever and convenient implementation of PKI security. It eliminates the overhead of key management that has been too high a hurdle to implementing multi-factor authentication, and it clears the path to more secure consumer transactions. It is easy to deploy, requires little or no change to consumer behavior and complies easily to local privacy and security regulations. This triple play is a big win for Data Security Systems Solutions.
