Product Description

Axon is a new enterprise collaboration and content-management software that extends the wiki concept through a unified approach to information creation and distribution. With enhanced usability, security and workflow, Axon’s topic-based approach erases the limits of the document-centric approach to model information flow based on the human brain’s neurological processes. Axon separates the content creation and publishing activities into a flexible framework so that information is updated in real-time across multiple channels on demand.

Market Opportunity

The worldwide content-management market is expected to grow from $5.8 billion in 2006 to $10.2 billion in 2010, a compound annual growth rate of over 5% according to IDC. Furthermore, wikis are seeing rapid adoption in enterprises, but market size estimates are difficult to forecast as most are open source.

Demo Says

The march from desktop applications to service-based software is bound to break old paradigms of software design. Serebrum does just that, eschewing function-centric applications by delivering a new way to think about collaborative documents. It is radical to think that the market can break from Microsoft Office, but then it was impossible to believe that Windows-based Excel would ever unseat DOS-based 1-2-3. Serebrum’s Axon is the first crack in the Office armor.
