- Product Description
- eJamming connects musicians online in real-time, and more importantly, in sync. This enables them to collaborate, play, write, record, rehearse, teach and learn together. With a voice or musical instrument, microphone, computer, broadband connection and eJamming’s patented software, musicians eliminate the barriers to working and creating together. The software is integrated with eJamming’s portal, which includes musician profiles, music postings, blogs, job listings, an education center, teacher-student classifieds, backing tracks and music distribution. eJamming creates a gathering place for the world’s musicians.
- Market Opportunity
- eJamming targets musicians, singers and teachers, from beginner to professional. NAMM reported $7.8 billion in instrument sales in 2005. Keyboard lessons are a $2 billion per year business. Projecting from NAMM’s surveys and international sales numbers, eJamming estimates more than 200 million musicians worldwide, not including vocalists, giving eJamming a significant potential market opportunity.
- DEMO Says
- Whether you’re a musician or a technician, you’ll appreciate the artistry of eJamming’s offering. Over the years, DEMO has witnessed musicians jamming with computers. eJamming lets musicians play with musicians, in real time, perfectly synchronized, across a broadband connection. eJamming’s technology opens new opportunities for artists and aspiring musicians and suggests a range of possibilities for virtual jams, clubs and concerts. eJamming advances the state of the art for both music and real-time online communications

Since we demoed eJamming AUDiiO at Demo-07 and were awarded DemoGod status, we launched our Public Beta at Musik-Messe in Frankfurt Germany on March 28, 2007 and via word of mouth and some limited PR, we now have 11,872 Beta Testers in 151 different countries (as of 1.28.08) who've signed on to test eJamming and give us feedback. That feedback and suggestions from our users led to a consistent series of product improvements over the past 10 months - including adding Overdub mode that turns eJamming AUDiiO into not only technology by which musicians can meet and play with one another over the Internet in real time, but into a virtual wordwide recording studio musicians can add tracks with near zero latency while connected in sessions with musicians halfway around the world - literally musicians in China, Brazil, Germany and the US can connect together and record together over eJamming AUDiiO in real time.
We were recently featured in the Intel Keynote Address at CES 2008 as a cutting edge technology (Smash Mouth's lead singer Steve Harwell on stage connected with his band in multiple locations in Las Vegas and performed together over eJamming). And we were the climax technology in Yamaha's Music Classroom of the Future presentation at NAMM 2008 (check out more videos and photos from both at www.ejamming.com).
eJamming will also launch JamCasts, streaming live performances from musicians anywhere in the world to listeners any where in the world on their computers, Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs), Ultra Light Notebooks (like Apple's Air and others) and web-enabled cell phones this quarter, as well as leave Beta for commercial release in Q1-08.
