Product Description

kannuu technology enables mobile device users to find a result with lighting speed and accuracy. With our elegantly simple Partial Word Completion™ technology combined with just a joystick or touch screen, kannuu delivers a fast, seamless and error-free search experience. With kannuu, the user will always find exactly what they are looking for.

Market Opportunity

According to ABI Research, combined global revenues from all mobile business categories, including voice, will reach $398 billion by 2012 (from $242 billion in 2007). An increasing number of worldwide mobile customers, exponential demand for content, amplified bandwidth and greater device functionality are driving the industry forward at a rapid pace.

Demo Says

kannuu - on-line, on-chip and on-device is one of those technologies you need to see firsthand to appreciate. And appreciate may be an understatement once you’ve seen it. Text entry, especially on mobile devices, is a problem for anyone who’s a frequent user of technology. We’ve explored innovative solutions to the problem before here at DEMO and really like the indexing aspect that kannuu brings to the table. In short, if the letters aren’t on your device, it won’t suggest them. With kannuu, it’s impossible to receive the dreaded “no results found” message. Even more interesting, the technology can work in any environment—a deep website like Wikipedia, iPods loaded with thousands of songs, even your TiVo’s search function can benefit from kannuu. Deployable directly on a device or server side, kannuu is a technology we’d like to implement immediately in every computing environment we own.
