- According to IDC, rich media ads account for more than 10% of the $20 billion Internet advertising spending this year, a number that is growing quickly. MuseStorm believes a large portion of rich media ad spending will be directed toward content syndicated via widgets and similar applications.

- The widget—a mere blip on the horizon two years ago—is now so pervasive that there is hardly a software company or website without them. Current methods of creation and development, however, can be time-consuming, expensive and require a healthy amount of input from the publisher. MuseStorm is, if you’ll pardon us, widgetizing the widget by allowing publishers to create their own widgets on the fly and push them out in minutes. Customers simply tell MuseStorm what content to package and what the user experience should be. What’s more, all widgets can be used on the desktop as well.
