Product Description

SpaceTime is a free consumer PC application enabling searching, shopping and browsing in an unlimited 3D environment. Browsing progress is mapped on a timeline, treating each Web site as an object that can be manipulated and rearranged. Searches on Google, Yahoo!, eBay, YouTube, Amazon and more reveal results as a visual stack of pages. RSS feeds are similarly displayed, creating a visually rich browsing experience. SpaceTime will generate revenue through an unobtrusive, integrated ad platform.

Market Opportunity

Online ad spending worldwide is forecast to grow from $19.5 billion in 2005 to more than $55 billion in 2010, according to Piper Jaffray.

Demo Says

One of those technologies that immediately elicits “oohs” and “aahs,” SpaceTime’s tabbed 3D browser has been talked about a bit already in the blogs this year. Its launch at DEMOfall, though, brings a browser like none you’ve seen before, with expanded content, savable spaces and community features that decidedly announce its arrival on the browsing scene. With the standalone browser virtually unchanged in the past 10 years, companies like SpaceTime are a more-than-welcome sight. The amount of information and destinations we find ourselves now navigating is simply too much for the browser of yore. It’s far past time to see real innovation on this front.
