Product Description
Cozimo is an image and video collaboration utility that connects people and their concepts online. People use Cozimo to collaborate on images and video with other users anywhere in the world. Cozimo’s interactive collaborative environment tools enables users to comment, mark-up and lead discussions on images and videos. Cozimo’s synchronized image and video collaboration, groups, notifications and project management components enable users to collaborate online more productively then the way they do in the world around them.
Market Opportunity
According to Gartner, Inc. the worldwide market for real-time and team-based collaboration technologies was $681.7 million in 2006. They expect the market grow annually by 19-20% to reach over $1.1 billion by 2008. Image and Video Collaboration technologies, as a fastgrowing area, is likely to expand the field by broadening collaboration applications.
DEMO Says
Ironically, technology-based collaboration platforms have eluded the most collaborative of arts: video production and film making. The sheer size of video files make it virtually impossible for editors and producers to work with synchronized media from remote locations. Developed by film industry insiders, Cozimo changes the game, allowing collaborators to work in real-time, online with a single, synchronized media file.

Cozimo was introduce to us by Juan Pablo DiLelle co-fonder of Cozimo. I work in two organizations that mainly work in the web accessibility field. By the past, it was very difficult for us to explain or suggest verbally or by phone some modifications to graphicals interfaces to make sure that it is compliant with web accessibility guidelines. Cozimo helps us in communicating more efficiently with our customers and save us hours in phone and email communications. With internationals customers, Cozimo speeds our communications by allowing us to communicate in an asynchronious way, breaking the business time frame. Sorry for my english ... Cozimo is also available in french

So my clients are very smart and tech savvy but when it comes to using internet tools and technologies they would likely advise me to go to Webex or Go-To-Meeting before trying to learn a new tool that is so confusing. Good effort in concept though. I am afraid I would have to pass on this with an average of 30 ongoing projects trying to teach them how to get around this tool would be a full time job.

Our firm has 160 people in three offices, one of which is in Shanghai, China, and we are active in architectural and interior design, urban design, and fundraising, branding, and Graphic Design work. Recently, in Shanghai, Cozimo saved my bacon, as I was able to solve a complex design problem with one of my colleagues in Toronto. There would have been no way that we could have serviced our client without the immediacy of Cozimo, and it allowed us to find the solution to the design problem quickly. Two days ago, a major developer client described the problems they were having with edits to a 3D animation they were putting together. When they heard that Cozimo could facilitate video collaboration, they were very excited. Cozimo definitely gives us a market edge in our work, giving us the ability to travel, without losing our competitive creative edge through being remote. The Cozimo site nicely straddles the Corporate/Creative line, which gives us some comfort when we invite a big client to collaborate on the site custom branded with their logo, without losing that sense of energy that we need with our graphic design clients. And these guys have been great at adding features and responding to our comments as the site developed.
