- Tag is the first portable learn-to-read system that fits in a child’s hand. With its extensive library of classic stories, Tag brings books to life and instills a lifelong love of reading. Children simply touch Tag to books in the Tag library to hear individual words, line-by-line reading or entire stories. Parents can connect Tag to LeapFrog’s online Learning Path to upload data on their child’s progress and download content to match their child’s interests.

- According to the Book Industry Association, the reading market is $1.2 billion in total retail sales, with the available market for learn-to-read toys estimated at $250 million, for children’s books (including hardcover, paperback, audio and interactive) at $750 million, and for workbooks and activity sets at $200 million.
