Product Description
TubeMogul’s Premium Distribution & Analytics allows producers and content owners to upload videos once to TubeMogul and automatically deploy them to as many of the top video sharing sites as they want. TubeMogul’s analytics technology aggregates video-viewing data from multiple sources to give video producers improved understanding of when, where, who and how often videos are watched. Also track and compare, measure the impact of marketing campaigns, gather competitive intelligence, and share the data with colleagues.
Market Opportunity
Advertising spending in online video is projected to grow from $775 million in 2007 to $4.3 billion in 2010, according to a report by eMarketer. Video producers, media companies, marketers and advertisers need audience measurement information to evaluate success, project return on investment, and determine which media to buy.
DEMO Says
TubeMogul has established its value to video publishers with its free site that makes it easy to upload and track video views across multiple sites. From that starting point, the company has learned and crafted a complete tool set that gives brand professionals a comprehensive, aggregated view of their campaigns and delivers the demographic and geographic data brand managers have come to expect from serious media properties. But TubeMogul doesn’t merely emulate the reporting of traditional media. It tracks meta data across the spectrum of user generated video content to give brand managers a 360-degree view of how their brands play on the Internet airwaves.

Love the way they copied version 1.0 of Scope in the demographics department. They even copied the age ranges, lol. Anyway, Scope demographics is way more detailed.

TubeMogul's free tools are great, as some people here have said. (TubeMogul gets much more press/PR in the blogosphere than the others too.) But those are only part of it. The premium tools are targeted at agencies and networks, and they have some big names using them which you can see on their site. Those premium features address all the needs mentioned by people here (geographics, demographics, engagement, competitive landscape). You can see the list on the site. Sounds like some people are just bashing here without knowledge, like whoever said they're not accurate!? I'm a big fan of TubeMogul. They've been great for us.

I'm another presenter from DEMO08 and had a chance to hang out with Brett and Mark from TubeMogul at the event. While the comments fly, it's cool to know that these are guys that you can sit down with, enjoy a cold beverage, and talk about your kids. :) Congrats on a great show guys! It was really a pleasure to meet you both. -Matt

I work for a large agency. The issue with Tubemogul is that you can't know if someone has engaged with your content. Also is tubemogul going to be around long term? I would have a hard time going to bat for them. As a free tool it is nice to look at but there are several free tools out there.

it's great that your agency is so successful. as far as i know, tubemogul is the only tool that gives you tracking on all the video sites. i use the product and its in fact very accurate - there are thousands of positive blog posts from other users out there as well.

I am sorry, but our agency does thirty million dollars of revenue quarter and if I went to BMW with TubeMoghul I would be fired. We went with Scope, a divinity Metrics product, because their stuff is far more accurate and far more robust. They have landcape metrics and amazing engagement tools. This is a tool for hobbiest, dont know why they are saying Neilsen is their competitor.
