Product Description
Zodigo equals mobile content search for TV. Unlike Google or other traditional search tools, Zodigo discovers who you are and how you use your mobile phone. Zodigo enables a high-definition, adaptive, multi-modal interface available not just from web browsers, but also next-gen game consoles, high-definition disc players, as well as cable, satellite, and telco TV. Whether it’s games, ringtones, manga, or podcasts, Zodigo helps you easily find and download interesting mobile stuff recommended by like-minded people.
Market Opportunity
Mobile content and application options continue to explode. In the U.S., download purchases paid for at off-phone storefronts totaled nearly $215 million in the first quarter of 2007, according to Telephia/Nielsen. Hitwise forecasts that revenues from digital content for mobile phones will reach $15.1 billion worldwide in 2008.
DEMO Says
The set-top box is a product still very much in flux. Its promised capability has yet to materialize, partially because of the fact that consumers are expected to purchase every new piece of hardware that comes along. Zodiac wants to change this with Zodigo, a product that allows users to order mobile content over existing cable set-top boxes and networks. Zodigo is pretty nifty in itself but we especially like Zodiac’s potential to shake up the interactive television sector by making its content platform and carrier-agnostic.

IMPRESSIVE!! I'd love to see this in action on my favorite forums... imagine, no more sitting alone in a chat room waiting for someone to join, and no more blogging without reaching anyone! The world can now be more connected and interative than ever!

Wow, finally I can search for mobile content, cool stuff beyond ringtones, from my big-screen high-def TV, instead of my tiny mobile phone monitor - yippee!! Although, I still have lots of ?s. I found answers to many of them right here - http://www.zodigo.com/Blog.html

This is great and sounds like what most of use mobile users can use. Hope this is as easy as presented. When can this be available from my carrier? Thanks,

excellent presentation and looks like a nice interface as well. Looking forward to using this right now. I agree that guy was really funny and it was refreshing to see some good humor..

Seems cool, but it would be nice to have more information.

Well, the press releases for it don't make any sense and it's extremely hard to find anything besides a press release about the product. How does it work with my TV or my Blu-ray player? How does it work with a keyboard and mouse? Why would I want to use my TV or computer to get content only for my mobile device through this mobile search? Oh and if ads are going to be plastered all over it - they have 3 ad models you can choose from as an advertiser - why am I paying for the content that Zodigo finds?
