- Maverick Secure Mobile is security application which protects your handset as well as data stored in it. It has the unique features of data back up. Using MSM, one can retrieve their entire phone book from the stolen /lost phone. MSM can also send thief activity reports via SMS on the reporting number. The owner of the device can lock/hang the phone remotely. MSM can be used in case of theft and parental control.

- Maverick forecasts the revenue growth from current $150,000 to $ 10 million by year 2009 as device capabilities are expanding. MSM works on Symbian OS which is 70% of total mobile market. According to Strategy Analytics Symbian OS device will cross $1.24 billion in 2008.

Maverick Mobile does both and more, and frankly in a way that feeds our desire to revenge the loss of a phone. Tied to the phone rather than the SIM, Maverick locates the phone, pulls contacts into the cloud and lets you pester the thief until he reconsiders a life of crime. This should be on every mobile phone, and with a Nokia deal in place it will soon be on many of them.
